The Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram, Dharampur, at present, is spread over 223 acres on the hillock of Mohangadh on the outskirts of Dharampur. Of this, around 4-5 acres of land has been developed on which several, primarily need-based, structures have been constructed.

The present infrastructure however, is insufficient to cater to the ever-increasing influx of seekers and devotees, who come from all over the world to the Ashram attracted by Shrimadji's grace and Pujyashri Gurudev's love and compassion. The growth and further development of the Ashram is thus essential for supporting the spiritual advancement of seekers.

In light of the above, the need for an Ashram 'Master Plan' was felt. This 'Master Plan' would seek to establish the Ashram as a complete and whole ecosystem with appropriate arrangements made for all the vital elements in it – devotees, seekers, permanent residents, support staff and others. This Master Plan would be the guiding force for all ashram development and related activities.

The future ashram design seeks to massively increase the present facilities. It will include:

With Pujyashri Gurudev's vision and grace, a number of blessed sevaks have been allotted with the implementation of the Master Plan. The Master Plan Committee consists of 3 circles of 9, 18 and 18 members respectively. The first circle encompasses the 9 Trustees. The second circle is made up of supporting sevaks. The third circle comprises of regional sevaks from across the globe.

Final Selection of Master Plan Architect: After one year of intense activity, with the blessings of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji and grace of Pujyashri Gurudev, the final selection of the architect for the Ashram Master Plan has been made. The Master plan Architect for the development of the Ashram is Mr. Kapil Gupta of Serie Architects.
