Graces the Ashram
Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur, has been often graced by the presence of various revered saints. Continuing this blessed tradition, on Thursday, 13th December 2012, the calm, simple and straightforward saint, Pujyashri Deepakbhai, was welcomed in the Ashram. Pujyashri Deepakbhai, who is Pujyashri Dada Bhagwan and Pujyashri Niruma’s virtuous disciple and who was blessed to attain their rajipo, entered the Yajnasthal with Pujya Gurudevshri, where they were greeted by a devotionally charged audience.
After an introductory speech, the Atmarpit group welcomed the esteemed guest with an elated nrutyabhakti. This was followed by the President of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur, Abhaybhai Jasani venerating him.
Pujyashri Deepakbhai commenced his satsang with a reverential introduction of his Guru, Pujyashri Dada Bhagwan. Thereafter, he explained the ‘akram vignan’ as unravelled by Pujyashri Dada Bhagwan. He emphasised that it is one’s ignorance about his own true identity, which leads to the generation of passions and negativities. His simple solution to this was surrendering to a living Master; where he established it by citing various quotes from the sacred writings of Param Krupalu Dev.
After the mellifluous speech reinforcing devotion, began a heartfelt series of question-answers. He beautifully solved the spiritual queries raised by aspirants. Concepts introduced by Pujyashri Dada Bhagwan – ‘Jnanvidhi’, non-sequential science along with various topics like progressive soul development through 14 Gunsthanaks, the benefits and necessity of celibacy, true devotion, ways to overcome prejudices towards others, etc. were not only discussed in an interesting manner but various keys of sadhana were also received to pursue the spiritual path. Thereafter, Pujya Gurudevshri concluded the session by summing up all the topics discussed in the question-answer session with a short and apt address, illuminating and ascertaining the true principles.
The programme came to an end with Pujya Gurudevshri lovingly presenting Pujyashri Deepakbhai with a memento to commemorate the heartfelt occasion. Pujyashri Deepakbhai also gifted Pujya Gurudevshri a sacred idol of the present tirthankar, Bhagwan Simandharswami. Later amidst an environment infused by mantra chants, Pujyashri Deepakbhai did vruksharopan (planted a tree) in the Ashram premises. He was then given a comprehensive tour of the Ashram, followed by a memorable meal with Pujya Gurudevshri.
Enhancing one’s devotional love and soul awareness through his gracious presence and discourse, Pujyashri Deepakbhai was bid a warm farewell from the Ashram in the evening.
