Eager to get drenched in the ever-flowing grace of their beloved Sadguru, seekers converged at the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram Dharampur on the crisp evening of Friday, 25th Jan '19 for the first shibir of the year. Setting the tone for the oncoming 2 blissful days the gathering immersed in meditative bhakti.Devotional fervour reached great heights the next morning as the sacred scripture 'Shri Yogvasishtha Maharamayana' was reverently carried in a magnificent shobhayatra from the Gurumandir to the Yajnasthal. Seekers welcomed the pious text by showering flowers, amidst continuous chants of devotion. Pujya Gurudevshri and the blessed laabharthis unveiled the vibrant backdrop featuring a divine chitrapat of Param Krupalu Dev Shrimad Rajchandraji and the auspicious Shri Yogvasishtha Maharamayana. Adding luminescence to this eventful day 7 blessed couples took the Ajeevan Brahmacharya vrat (lifelong vow of celibacy).

Composed by the revered Adikavi Maharishi Valmikiji Shri Yogvasishtha Maharamayana contains profound teachings structured as a philosophical dialogue between sage Vasishtha and prince Rama. It also contains meaningful stories and anecdotes to help impart deep spiritual messages. Throughout the year Pujya Gurudevshri will delve deeper into the first 2 Prakarans of this prolific text - Vairagya (Dispassion) and Mumukshu (Seeker of Liberation). Seekers spirits soared high as the Master began His exposition of the scripture awakening seekers, encouraging them to discover their true selves. The Sadguru lovingly served profound life lessons in a simple and lucid manner making it easy for all to absorb them. Gracing aspirants with their blessed presence in the shibir were a group of Sadhvijis led by Pujyashri Tarulatabai Mahasatiji.

On Sunday afternoon, after the concluding satsang of the shibir, the Jivanarpit and Yuvarpit Group leaders enthusiastically took to the stage to flag off their upcoming Youth Shibir. Dressed in their winter apparel they expressed their excitement and heartfelt gratitude to the Master of their hearts, Pujya Gurudevshri. Despite being physically unwell, the compassionate Sadguru was to proceed that evening for the much-awaited Youth Shibir in Shimla.

Blessed with the divine darshan of the mystic Master, fuelled with inspiring satsangs, seekers thoroughly relished the beginning of another year of spiritual elevation. Salutations to the Enlightened Ones who strive unceasingly to ensure that our journey on the inner path continues unabated.
