Blessed Parna - Dharampur

Seekers converged with full enthusiasm at the Ashram on Tuesday, 16th May 2017 to participate in the memorable Varshitap Parna celebrations in the august presence of Pujya Gurudevshri. Several aspirants had undertaken the auspicious penance of varshitap with the benevolent blessings of Pujya Gurudevshri last year. Varshi – tapa means a yearlong penance, inspired by Bhagwan Rushabhdeva’s soul-centred fasting for 400 days.

The devotional celebrations of the parna began with a mesmerising bhakti glorifying the virtues of Bhagwan Rushabhdeva. Tapasvis then devoutly prostrated at the Lord followed by doing pakshal pujan of Bhagwan Rushabhdeva with sugarcane juice. The benevolent Master then lovingly did parna of each tapasvi with sugarcane juice in remembrance of Shreyancekumar doing parna of Bhagwan with sugarcane juice after 400 days of fasting. Thus Pujya Gurudevshri gifted them blissful memories to cherish for a lifetime. Amidst soulful chanting and a charged atmosphere each one felt immensely blessed.

Such is the boundless grace of the Enlightened Ones, where every celebration becomes a medium to strengthen our connection with the Divine.
