Love of Faith
A Landmark Charity Walk

The LOVE OF FAITH Charity Walk highlights the Jain community’s commitment to developing good inter faith relations. By celebrating the unity of world religions and spreading the universal message of love and harmony, this landmark event will raise awareness of the Jain principles of Anekantvada (acceptance of different viewpoints) and Ahimsa (non-violence and love).

The LOVE OF FAITH initiative is the inspiration of Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshbhai - a spiritual visionary and founder of Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur - who is devoted into spreading the message of peace and love based on the teachings of Lord Mahavira.

The Event

The 6.75 km landmark charity walk past royal parks and historical buildings in the heart of London will encompass six of the world's great faiths. The day will begin with an offering of prayers at a Jain temple in North-West London followed by the walk in Central London, which shall include a visit to the following places of worship:
  • Buddhism - London Fo Guang Temple
  • Hinduism - Radha Krishna Temple
  • Judaism - Liberal Jewish Synagogue
  • Christianity - Westminster Abbey
  • Islam - London Central Mosque [Photo Gallery]
