6. Community Care
To love all and care for all is his need.
The community is an integral part of the society. People with similar beliefs and ways of life come together to live in a particular type of ecosystem - through which fraternity and security grow. It thus forms a unique social fabric stitched together with strong feelings of togetherness, upon which developmental initiatives can be launched. Strengthening community bonds and supporting community-based activities are important efforts to ensure social harmony and progress. Supporting community parks, town infrastructure and cleanliness initiatives help improve the civic levels of an area as well.
Launched under Shrimad Rajchandra Love & Care Programme, 'Community Care' aims to touch the lives of the community at large, by providing infrastructural support, promoting cultural and community events, building relationships and harnessing potential that can be synergised for collective change.
Community Care is managed by the Shrimad Rajchandra Youthwing.
A community garden improves the quality of people's life as it is a medium for recreation, exercise, social interaction, beautification of the neighborhood and thus, for community development. Amidst the noise and pollution of the concrete jungle that surrounds us, community gardens act as a welcome oasis and also as important stress-busters. To provide such an opportunity to the community, especially in the underprivileged areas, projects to build community gardens are under way.
A well-equipped garden for the locals of Dharampur is being built to create a facility for children to play, and also to serve as a recreation spot for the local community.

The first step to health is hygiene and cleanliness. It has been observed that basic health and sanitation knowledge is largely missing among the people of rural India. Therefore sanitation and cleanliness drives will be organised in public places to raise awareness and thus, help make a change for the better. Cleanliness drives for beaches, gardens and roads in urban areas will also be taken up.

A community stadium provides a safe and accessible outdoor play and exercise space, and also promotes physical fitness. It is also useful for a variety of activities like outdoor science exhibitions, workshops, bala melas and for the celebration of festivals like Navratri, Diwali, Id, Independence Day etc. where the community gets together and bonds. It further generates economic benefit for the community.
Therefore, support has been provided to the stadium being built at the Mahatma Gandhi Ground, Vansda. This building also houses a community hall, a library and is used for indoor games and other activities for children. This building has been named Shrimad Rajchandra Pavilion and was inaugurated on 1st November 2010. Nearly 350 schools and 25,000 boys and girls from the nearby areas have benefited from it. Many such projects are being planned.
