Magictouch is a worldwide chain of value education and self-development classes for children aged 4 to 8 years consisting of 8 terms spanning across 4 years.
Magictouch has grown to centres and has benefited thousands of children.
Magictouch, founded on the auspicious day of Gurupurnima, 2nd July 2004, was designed with the aim of unfolding divinity in little hearts. It believes in inculcating values, thus inspiring and transforming lives. Through the character building education offered through 2-hour weekly classes at Magictouch, children are able to build a strong foundation, which enables them to meet life as truly compassionate, courageous, responsible and confident individuals.
Here, the children are introduced to the lives of Spiritual Masters and great personalities belonging to various religious traditions the world over, using fun-filled interactions and innovative, captivating teaching techniques like audio-visuals, skits, puppet shows, worksheets, creativity, quizzes, animations and PowerPoint presentations etc. designed to reinforce what the child has learnt in class. The programme is formulated to help synchronise the child's body, mind and soul and channelise his energy into constructive thought and action.
Magictouch teachers, fondly known as Didis, are trained through specialised Teachers' Training Programmes conducted by both, in-house trainers and experts from across the world.
Special workshops are also conducted for teachers and children alike in association with renowned educational institutions, thus touching the lives of more and more children across the world.
"I saw the work being done by the Magictouch people. Really impressive! The value that comes immediately to my mind when I talk about Indian values is universal brotherhood. That’s being taught. And I loved this programme… I mean, I can see that it is a Jain organisation, but we had Lord Buddha there; we had Lord Krishna there; we had Prahlad there… it’s universal brotherhood! That is what must be taught."
- Mrs. Kiran Bajaj, Principal - Green Lawns High School
"... there are many gaps in our existing educational system... but we have wonderful movements like the Magictouch movement... these are the forces that are doing what our educational system failed to do and it is from these people that we learn..."
- Mr. Neil Gupta, Principal - Cathedral & John Connon Residential School, Lonavala
"I think Magictouch is a process and it is a process that should come into all our schools and all our lives and I am really honoured to have been part of the process today."
- Mrs. Mona Seervai, Principal - Bombay International School
